Continuing a long family line of builders extending back generations in NZ, Kina Construct is a family run team of hand picked carpenters. Passionately operated by certified licensed builder, Benny Griffiths and partner, Heidi Cotton, an experienced finance manager. Working together they provide accurate estimates and forecasts. Ensuring even the smallest detail is considered while running to schedule. Benny and Heidi’s complimentary backgrounds have created a versatile company that has a reputation for quality workmanship, clear project management all while forming strong relationships with their clients.

Benny Griffiths
Benny found his calling in life at an early age watching his grandfather bring old bungalows back to life in Taranaki through hard work, determination and old-school craftmanship. A spark ignited and Benny followed in his footsteps starting his own career in building. Today Benny leads Kina Construct with the same integrity and charm his grandfather bestowed upon him. Continuing to build Kina Constructs reputation for quality work, Benny’s easy-going nature makes him very approachable and easy to work with. When he isn’t working you’ll find him with the family or on the water fishing and diving.
Heidi Cotton
As a highly experienced finance professional, Heidi oversees every Kina Construct project big or small. Heidi plays a significant role in the day-to-day running of the business, from working closely with suppliers and contractors while ensuring the office runs smoothly and the team are looked after. Communication is at the heart of any project and Heidi’s financial training ensures that projects are kept on track and clients are always up-to-date. Heidi has a particular passion for interior design and cutting edge architecture, when she isn’t working you’ll find her at the local markets or practicing yoga.
